Is the bad things that happen to us just in our head?

I have been thinking about this lately, but as the wise, honest, and famous Abraham Lincoln once said, "If your look for the bad in life, your are sure to find it." I really do take that quotation to heart.He is really saying, "Look, bad things are going to happen to you if you are always thinking in a bad way." It works the same way for being positive.  If you look at the good in life you are sure to find it. Just a thought I had; hope that maybe I could have been some assistance!
